Former President Trump's defense team is expected to rest its case today in his criminal hush money trial. Also, it's unclear if Trump will testify in his own defense. Attorneys for Trump reportedly told Judge Juan Merchan they were calling only three witnesses, but that was subject to change.        Senate Democrats are once again trying to pass a bipartisan border bill after it was blocked by Republicans earlier this year. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced the Senate will vote on the bill this week as Democrats renew their push on the southern border ahead of the 2024 election.        White House officials say the U.S. had no part to play in the crash that killed Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi [[ rah-AY-see ]]. The comment came from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin when he was asked during a news conference Monday if he's concerned Iran would try to blame the U.S. or Israel for the incident.        The cargo ship that brought down the Francis Scott Key Bridge is now safely docked at the Port of Baltimore. The Dali was refloated during high tide Monday morning and five tugboats helped to guide the massive vessel the two-and-a-half miles to the Seagirt Marine Terminal. That's where the ship, which still has a portion of roadway from the bridge on its bow, will remain for weeks.        An Indiana man is charged with vehicular homicide and DUI following a motorcycle crash at country star Loretta Lynn's property in Tennessee this past Friday. The incident happened during the four-day Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival.        A group of Tesla investors is urging Tesla shareholders to vote against CEO Elon Musk's 56-billion-dollar pay package. The group issued an open letter Monday criticizing the package as against Tesla's interests, arguing the company's board has failed to reign in Musk, including his fights with regulators and controversial public statements. The vote is scheduled for June 13th.
